Spring 2024

SUNDAY MORNING: Live Connected in Spiritual Formation – 2024 Pilgrimage to Renewal
Do you feel like you could use a “refresh” in your life? 2024 is set to be a “Year of Renewal” at St. Peter as we dovetail with Pastor Clark in the emphasis on “pilgrimage” for our Renewal Grant. In this study, we will search out the biblical definition of renewal, as well as God’s promises for renewal. We also will explore the theme of pilgrimage throughout Scripture (it’s there more than you think!) and Church history. We’ll also brainstorm about our own opportunities for “local pilgrimage,” financed by the Grant. Even if you do not usually come to bible study, you won’t want to miss this one!

This Week’s Topic: Renewal – a Biblical Definition and Promise
When: Sundays, 9am | Where: Church Fellowship Hall

New THURSDAY MORNING Bible Study: Colossians

Paula Ryan will begin hosting a bible study on February 1, meeting each Thursday at 9am at the church. First study will be on one of the Epistles. Please indicate your interest by singing up on the sheet under the slat wall so we know how many study guides to order. See Paula with questions!

FRIDAY NIGHT: Limping with God – Jacob & the Old Testament Guide to Messy Discipleship
Jacob seems to be anything but a model disciple. And yet he is also “Israel,” the namesake of the Old Testament community of God, chosen and blessed. In Jacob’s life we see our lives, our struggles, our failures…but most especially, the God who loves us and chooses us as his own. Come explore his story as we learn more together about ourselves and about the God of Israel, who is with us and for us in Jesus the Messiah.
