Stephen Ministry is a worldwide, biblically-based, one-to-one lay ministry available to individuals when a difficult life situation strikes (see examples below). Stephen Ministers are not professional counselors or pastors. Rather, they are well-trained Christians who will help you connect with God, the Cure-giver, and walk with you through troubled times. They offer an ear to listen, a shoulder to lean or cry on, a heart to care, and a brother or sister with whom to pray — all in the strictest confidence.
