Announcements for August 9, 2020

Worship Options for Sunday 8/9, 9am

We have made some improvements on our streaming and will continue to work on others. For now, you can expect to see a very occasional and brief fluctuation in the picture, but we hope to eventually fix that too. Select the WORSHIP OPTIONS link below and then try both livestream options and use the one that is best for you!

We look forward to joining you in common worship, whether in-person or online!  Please also know that your pastors and other leaders are continuing to develop still more creative ways to safely foster worship and connecting as the Body of Christ.  We also encourage you to continue being safely creative in connecting to each other and serving your neighbors!

Communion

Communion is offered 3 ways by St Peter at this time.

  1. Sunday mornings, in-person, during service that starts at 9am.
  2. Privately, at church, by appointment only. Contact Pastor Borger at revborger@mac.com to schedule an appointment. Shut-Ins can also schedule with PB to have communion brought to them.
  3. Zoom Communion, roughly once a month. Contact Pastor Clark at adamclarknd@gmail.com if you are interested in participating. PC can give you the details.

High School & College Graduates Honored next Sunday, August 16

St Peter will be recognizing those students who have graduated this year, either from college or high school. What a great accomplishment deserving of praise! We would love to have all you grads here and are encouraging you to attend in-person service; however, if you are unable to attend, please join us virtually so we can cover you in prayer.

Facebook Daily Posts

Have you noticed the cutes-patoots daily Facebook posts on our Facebook page? During these crazy times, it is important to St Peter to stay as connected as possible and one of those ways is to have a daily post on Facebook for you to enjoy with a question that you can answer in the comments. Hopefully, we can feel less lonely or weird by reading the comments and possibly realizing that there are other people out there feeling the exact same way as you. I know it helps me mentally to feel less alone in these trying times. If you don’t see these daily posts in your feeds, perhaps you need to “like” and “follow” our Facebook page at facebook.com/stpetermishawaka.

Ushers needed

St Peter is in need of more ushers. Please contact Sam Homann at samhomann01@gmail.com or Matt Rockwell at church for more details if interested.
