SUNDAY ADULT ED, 9am: Identity, Diversity, Love, and Justice
Download and Read NOW for next session.
PC continues to Theses that offer his best take on the best way forward with regard to questions of Identity, Diversity, Love, and Justice that have become divisive in the Church and our society. These are intended for debate seeking consensus and any missing truth. So, PC invites you to read, jot thoughts, and then come discuss.
Because these Sundays will be discussion sessions, please read the theses (about 6-8 pages per week) BEFORE you come. Download below (note – it is sealed with the same password we use for prayers; call PC or church office if needed; do not distribute to others without Pastor Clark’s written permission):

Be a Crucifer…or Usher!
We invite anyone interested and able to carry the Cross in the opening hymn of worship. Sign-up on the Sunday Servants sheet in the Narthex and watch this video to prepare.
We also continue to invite families, ministry teams, or friend groups to sign up on the same Sunday Servants sheet for a day of Ushering this Fall. A veteran usher will be there to assist you. You can also see the specific list duties, with video demos, here.

Thank you for supporting our CROP Hunger Walk Fundraiser
Over the past few weeks, we encouraged you to support our efforts to raise funds for the St. Joseph County CROP Hunger Walk. Despite not-so-ideal weather we had 20 of our members come out to represent St. Peter Lutheran Church at the walk on September 25th.
Together with all of you we raised $605 –over half of the amount was generated through our Youth Group!!! Our donations will support the organization’s projects addressing hunger and food insecurity, lack of clean water, and other issues defining poverty in our community and across the globe. 25% of all the funds raised go to local organizations, including Broadway Christian Parish UMC Food Ministries, Christian Community Pantry of Walkerton, Sunnyside Presbyterian Church Food Pantry and United Religious Community Advocacy Center.
Thank you all for making this project a success!
There is still time to make a donation!
If you would like to make a donation, please do so no later than Sunday, October 16 to ensure 25% percentage of the funds come back to the local St. Joseph County chapter.
Click here to donate online or give your check or cash to Halrun Luppes. Thank you!
