The purpose of this Assembly is to consider whether to submit an “overture” to this summer’s Synodical (LCMS-wide) Convention. The overture primarily would call for more and better conversations on race/ethnicity, economic justice, and sex and gender. It also includes 16 Theses, condensed from our Fall Sunday School, offered here as a discussion starter.
