Lenten Daily Devotionals
Available on Slat Wall Table in Narthex
or call the church office to request a copy.
Just as Moses wandered through the wilderness for forty days, God’s creation now wanders as we wait to be brought to our eternal promised land in heaven. During this time in Lent, reflect on the theme Promised Treasures in this daily devotional booklet. You’ll be led through a different item each week to see how each of these Old and New Testament elements will remind you of God’s eternal love for you in Christ. Take a moment each day to read through these personal devotions and center yourself with reflection as you move through the forty days of Lent toward His glorious resurrection.

If you would like to help out by donating a dozen eggs or a coffeecake/muffins (can be homemade or store-bought), please sign up now under the slat wall. Eggs must be brought no later than the morning of April 8 to the kitchen. See Paula or Jill if you have specific questions.

Easter Egg Hunt: Sign out, Fill, and Return Easter Eggs
Take a set of 100 Easter eggs to fill with individually-wrapped candy and no more than a very small piece of tape on the outside. They are spread across four bins in the Narthex by the slat wall. Please sign that you are taking a set and return no later than Palm Sunday, April 2.
Easter Egg Hunt: Volunteers Needed, Including New Clean-Up Team
Your help is needed for our community Easter Egg Hunt event on Saturday, April 8; 9:30-11am. There are many roles: see the sign-up board by the slat wall. In addition, this year we also need clean-up team after the event, which will help set up for Easter vigil. There is a special sign-up sheet on the table by the board for this team. Tasks will include moving chairs, mopping the fellowship hall, cleaning bathrooms, taking out trash, putting away decorations, cleaning up the kitchen, etc.
Please see PC with questions about the event and Renee Peggs with clean-up questions.
Hannah’s House Life Grant Project: Time to Sign Up!
We have just received final confirmation from Hannah’s House that we are a go for our project this Spring! So it is time to schedule two Saturdays that will work the best for the most people. We will have jobs for every skill and ability level!
To figure which weeks work best, we will use the “Doodle” website, which helps us instantly see which days get the most responses. Please click the following link and indicate ALL the days that could work for you in May to early June: https://doodle.com/meeting/participate/id/e79oxprb
RLA Euchre Tournament
RLA is sponsoring a euchre tournament fundraiser on Saturday, March 25 at 4pm at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Entry is $10 per person for the beginners’/casual tournament, and $20 per person for experienced/competitive players. Prizes awarded for each division!!! Crock pot meals (soup, chili, etc.) will be available for $5 per person between 5:00pm and 6:30pm. There will also be a 50/50 raffle. Sign up by emailing Donald Swift at dswift@rlasouthbend.com or by calling the school office at (574) 272-2200. You do not need to have a team or a partner as they will be assigned when the event begins. Pick up more info under the slat wall or speak with Brian Ruch.
Want to support RLA? Consider being an MLEA delegate!
Some delegates to the Michiana Lutheran Education Association (MLEA) serve on the Board. But some serve more as key volunteers at the school and cheerleaders for RLA at St. Peter. Do you feel God tugging on your heart in either direction? Talk to Rob Hunt (MLT Nominations Chair) or Jackie Homann or Brian Ruch (current MLEA President and VP)!

SUNDAY MORNING: Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah
