If you would like to help out by donating a dozen eggs or a coffeecake/muffins (can be homemade or store-bought), please sign up now under the slat wall. Eggs must be brought no later than the morning of April 8 to the kitchen. See Paula or Jill if you have specific questions.
Easter Egg Hunt: Sign out, Fill, and Return Easter Eggs

Easter Egg Hunt: Volunteers Needed, Including New Clean-Up Team
Your help is needed for our community Easter Egg Hunt event on Saturday, April 8; 9:30-11am. There are many roles: see the sign-up board by the slat wall. In addition, this year we also need clean-up team after the event, which will help set up for Easter vigil. There is a special sign-up sheet on the table by the board for this team. Tasks will include moving chairs, mopping the fellowship hall, cleaning bathrooms, taking out trash, putting away decorations, cleaning up the kitchen, etc.
Please see PC with questions about the event and Renee Peggs with clean-up questions.

To figure which weeks work best, we will use the “Doodle” website, which helps us instantly see which days get the most responses. Please click the following link and indicate ALL the days that could work for you in May to early June: https://doodle.com/meeting/participate/id/e79oxprb
RLA Euchre Tournament
RLA is sponsoring a euchre tournament fundraiser on Saturday, March 25 at 4pm at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Entry is $10 per person for the beginners’/casual tournament, and $20 per person for experienced/competitive players. Prizes awarded for each division!!! Crock pot meals (soup, chili, etc.) will be available for $5 per person between 5:00pm and 6:30pm. There will also be a 50/50 raffle. Sign up by emailing Donald Swift at email@example.com or by calling the school office at (574) 272-2200. You do not need to have a team or a partner as they will be assigned when the event begins. Pick up more info under the slat wall or speak with Brian Ruch.
Want to support RLA? Consider being an MLEA delegate!
Some delegates to the Michiana Lutheran Education Association (MLEA) serve on the Board. But some serve more as key volunteers at the school and cheerleaders for RLA at St. Peter. Do you feel God tugging on your heart in either direction? Talk to Rob Hunt (MLT Nominations Chair) or Jackie Homann or Brian Ruch (current MLEA President and VP)!
Bergstrom Meal Train
We welcome Benjamin Frederick Bergstrom born 3/11/23 at 11:39 pm, weighing 7 lbs and 8 oz and 19 inches long. Welcome Jordan, Dylan, and Benjamin Bergstrom home with a meal: Click here to sign up for a date!
YOUR Help is Needed as an Usher!
The Body of Christ is in need of 2-4 more permanent members on the Usher Team, to make a lighter rotation for everyone and ensure coverage. We also need more families or groups to sign up for a Sunday to help. Please prayerfully consider this opportunity and see Head Usher Matt Rockwell after worship or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Bring your coffee and pray – for Our Grant Application, Overture, Convention, and more
Gather with Deaconess Amy Smessaert at 10am on Sundays for 6-8 minutes of prayer for St. Peter, Pastor Clark, and the Church. We will pray for our Renewal Grant application and our Overture but also for the wider health and mission of the LCMS as we move toward Convention and for the Body of Christ as a whole. Meet in the south end of the sanctuary, by the stairwell.

Adult Bible Studies and Small Groups
SUNDAY MORNING: Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah
Na-who? Nahum, Habakkuk, and Zephaniah are three of the so-called “minor prophets” – the shorter prophetic books in the Old Testament. But as we’ll see, these under-studied books pack a major punch! Come, learn, and discuss!
When: Sundays, 9am | Where: Church Fellowship Hall
TUESDAY EVENING (once monthly): Taking Off the Mask
This CONFIDENTIAL group gathers to process some of the harder things in life with God and each other. A meal is also shared and childcare provided as needed. If you wish to join us, please contact either Deaconess Amy Smessaert (email@example.com) or Pastor Clark (firstname.lastname@example.org).
FRIDAY Night Bible Study: The Creed
We confess the Apostles’ Creed every Sunday. But have you ever studied it closely? Come join us on this walk through the core of the faith. All are invited! If you haven’t attended before, please contact a host so that they have a headcount: Mike Fonck (email@example.com) or John Schroeder (firstname.lastname@example.org; (574) 220-1530).
Time: Meal 6:30pm | Study 7-8:30pm
Dates: 1st and 3rd Fridays, except Good Friday (meeting dates Apr 21, May 5 and 19)
Where: Fellowship Hall
Pick Your Next Usher Date!
Thanks to everyone who has served as an usher or part of an usher team. It’s time to pick another date to serve! Please sign up on the Sunday Servants sheet on the slat wall. You can see the specific list of duties, with video demos, here. A veteran usher will assist you and teach you one extra duty beyond communion each time you serve.
Crucifer: Pick a Date to Carry the Cross!
Anyone interested and able is invited to carry the Cross for the processional at the beginning of worship. Sign up on the Sunday Servants sheet in the Narthex and watch this video to prepare.
If you are using the church for any reason and need the church set up a certain way, please contact Matt Rockwell (574) 261-8318.
